Our Mission:

Advocacy & Design endeavor to optimizing Health/Safety/Welfare in the built environment

Believing such, LifeCare Design Studio sponsored an accessibility resolution “Universal Design” at the AIA’2008 Annual Convention/Boston. 

The resolution was adopted resulting in an AIA policy statement supporting & advocating for accessibility through Universal Design. The AIA has since, instituted formation of Knowledge Community forums to facilitate discussions on aging/health/environment/housing & other topics. 

Our Goals

We believe that the principles of “Universal Design/UD” best exemplify optimal accessibility to facilitate design of everyday products and that the built environment.  

LifeCare Design Studio, LLC advocates integration of UD principles to design built environments that are safe, healthy, and functionally accessible to all Americans.
